alami to us is not always about tradition. Sometimes you have to try to break the mold a little bit. We love currywurst and wanted to bring it to a salami. We make a spice blend with cumin, coriander, tumeric, allspice, ginger and garlic not to overpower the salami but to make it warm and buttery. Some love it. Some don't understand it. It really doesn't matter after the first time you try it.
